Hot chocolate banana smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 L reduced fat milk
  • 2.5 medium size ripe banana
  • 5 tablespoons rolled oats
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2.5 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender
  2. Process for about 1 minute, making sure all oats are ground down
  3. Decant into a saucepan for stove top heating or into individual cups for microwave. The mixture will thicken slightly due to the oats.
